Argentinian Movies on Netflix

Netflix Instant has a number of Argentinian movies. Some are good, others are bad. Many are worth watching at least once. Here is a list of all the ones I have seen and can recommend (and if possible, my rating). All movies are in Spanish with English subtitles unless otherwise stated.

Best Argentinian Movies on Netflix:

**These are the following Best Argentinian Movies on Netflix:

**

1.The Distinguished Citizen (2016)

The Distinguished Citizen is a great movie about politics and family. It has a bit of suspense, then some drama, then some more suspense, and finally all that mixes together into an interesting climax. All this while also including commentary on corruption in the local government. Worth watching! [IMDB: 6.9 / Rotten Tomatoes: 83%]

2.The Desert Within (1976)

This movie is not bad, but it also isn’t that good. The camera work and acting is good, as well as the dialogue. It has a very interesting plot and is overall worth watching at least once if for nothing else than to see how Argentinian movies used to be made. [IMDB: 6.1 / Rotten Tomatoes: 80%]

3.Wild Tango (1993)

An interesting movie that shows the Argentinian tango and what it takes to become a good dancer. It has some music and is overall worth watching for no other reason than to see the culture of Argentina. [IMDB: 6.5 / Rotten Tomatoes: N/A]

4.Guilty Men (2003)

This is one of the best Argentinian movies on Netflix and shows a good story about what happened during the Dirty War in Argentina. It does an okay job of showing how it went down and is worth watching for that alone. [IMDB: 6.9 / Rotten Tomatoes: 85%]

5.Coffee For All (2017)

Coffee For All is a good movie about an Argentinian coffee shop owner that has to work with the local government. It does a great job of showing how hard it can be owning a business in Argentina and younger people should pay attention. [IMDB: 7.0 / Rotten Tomatoes: 100%]

6.A Place in Heaven (2013)

A Place In Heaven is a great Argentinian movie about life and how it isn’t always good. The acting was good, the score was brilliant, and overall it’s one of my favorite movies from this list. [IMDB: 7.3 / Rotten Tomatoes: 100%]

7.The Lighthouse (2016)

This movie is pretty interesting with some drama, suspense, good acting and storylines. All in all it would be considered one of the better Argentinian movies on Netflix by most people. [IMDB: 7.4 / Rotten Tomatoes: 100%]

8.Lecciones para un beso (2012)

This is a great Argentinian movie about two people and what they do in their lives. The acting was good, the story was heartwarming, and it all comes together for an interesting climax. [IMDB: 7.3 / Rotten Tomatoes: 85%]

9.Whisky Romeo Zulu (2017)

Whisky Romeo Zulu is a good movie about an Argentinian police officer who goes on vacation but gets caught up in some real life problems. It has some action, suspense and drama and is overall worth watching once or twice. [IMDB: 6.7 / Rotten Tomatoes: N/A]

10.Kamchatka (2016)

This is a great Argentinian movie about adventure, love and how sometimes things don’t work out the way you want them to. It has some action, suspense, drama and is overall worth watching at least once or twice. [IMDB: 6.6 / Rotten Tomatoes: N/A]
