Easter can mean various things to various people. So let us assume that you are in the state of mind for a film that mirrors the Easter season, and this may include something that is regardless of whether it be an immediate reference to the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Let’s assume it could also be a festival of springtime and bunnies and stuff. We went through the immense Disney Plus library of titles to find something that will satisfy everybody in the family.

Our assortment of Easter films includes the most loved children’s characters like Winnie the Pooh and the cast of Ice Age.

Our top picks of Easter Movies

Ice Age: The Great Egg-Scapade

This Ice Age movie includes all your cherished characters like Sid, Diego, Manny, and Ellie. Everyone’s favourite sloth, Sid, takes on a babysitting job looking after a bunch of eggs.

When the eggs are stolen, the entire group of friends has to cooperate in tracking them down.

The voice cast includes John Leguizamo, Dennis Leary, Queen Latifah, and Taraji P. Henson.

Winnie The Pooh: Springtime with Roo

Spring Time in Roo

It’s Easter time at the Hundred Acre Wood, and Pooh, Tiger, Piglet, Eeyore and Roo head over to Rabbit’s house to celebrate Easter all together and have an Easter egg hunt.

But Rabbit has organised a Spring Cleaning Day instead. So, while he is doing the garden, he orders the others to clean his house. Not wanting to disappoint Rabbit, they do as they’re told, but while cleaning, they find a chest with Rabbit’s Easter decorations and his Easter Bunny hat.

They also strangely find some of each’s favourite Easter possessions. They think Rabbit has forgotten all about Easter, so they decide to decorate his house instead.

But when Rabbit finds out, he gets very angry indeed.

Explorer Special: The Secrets of Christ’s Tomb

In this 2017 TV movie, the crew of the National Geographic is sent to follow the restoration of the edicule that houses what is believed to be the Tomb of Christ.

In this hour-long special, leading experts worldwide are on a quest to discover the mysteries about the Tomb of Christ using the latest scientific techniques. The scientific tests indicate the remains of the tomb date back to the 4th century, revolutionising what we know about the tomb of Christ.

Easter Island: Unsolved

Easter Island

This is another National Geographic TV movie released in 2018 about the great mystery behind Easter Island in the Pacific Ocean.

It tries to uncover the arcane about the Rapa Nui, disappeared inhabitants of Easter Island and the Moai, the megalithic head statues they left behind.

Burrow

Burrow is a 2000 animated short film created by Pixar for Walt Disney Studios.

A little young brown rabbit sketches a rough drawing of how her ideal house is to be. When she begins digging, two new neighbours, a field mouse and a mole, offer to help her. They show her their more elaborate plans of the burrows they dug for their own families.

Seeing those plans, the young rabbit feels ashamed at her simple sketch and hides it from them while trying to run away, leaving everyone confused.

What is Easter without a rabbit tale?
