How can you change your Hulu Plan
To review, change or upgrade your Hulu plan, you need to log in to your Hulu account through the mobile or web browser:
Log in and scroll down the page to Your Subscription section in the menu and select manage plan
Under the Plans section, choose the plan you want to move to and switch the toggle on. To find more out about the plans, click Plan details in the menu.
You will get a pop-up screen titled before you switch plans. This gives all the information about eligibility changes if you switch your Hulu subscription.
Click Continue on the page to switch plans.
If you want to sign up for any add-ons, then click the plus icon next to the add-ons.
Select review changes and then confirm for the changes to go through.
Your update will begin when the last billing cycle ends.
Update to Hulu Live
If you are ready to move from on-demand content to a Hulu Live TV subscription, you will need to follow slightly different steps:
Sign in to your Hulu account on the Hulu site from a web browser.
In the upper right corner of the menu, select your profile icon and in the drop-down menu, select Account.
Go to your subscription section of the menu and click Manage Plan.
Scroll down the page until you find the Hulu Live TV section and click the plus sign next to the Live plan you want.
Select review changes and then confirm for the plan updates to go through.
How to change your Hulu Plan with third-party billing?
If you are not billed directly by Hulu and are signed up with third parties, you will not be able to upgrade or change your plan through Hulu. You will instead need to go to the third party. It is also important to note that not all third-party billing providers give you the option to update to every Hulu plan.
On Disney Plus
If you are billed through Disney Plus, you can only choose to have the Hulu Disney Bundle package with or with ads. There is no option for live TV.
If you want to upgrade to include live TV in your package, you will need to cancel your current plan, the Disney bundle, through the Disney Plus website and then re-subscribe to it through your Hulu account.
On Amazon
If you are billed through Amazon, you cannot add the Disney bundle to your subscriptions however you can upgrade your account to include live TV through Hulu directly, on the Hulu app or through the Hulu site on a web browser by going to the Manage Plan section in your account settings.
If you want to sign up for the Disney bundle, you will have to go to the Disney Plus website and sign up there. You may choose to cancel your current plan before you do this.
With Spotify for students
If you are billed through Spotify for students, there is no option to upgrade. You may only use the basic plan.
If you want more content or an upgraded Hulu plan, then you will need to sign up through Hulu directly on the Hulu account page.
With Verizon
Verizon comes with access to the Disney bundle but does not offer any other options to upgrade to different plans. This means if you want to add Live TV or upgrade to a new plan you will need to create an account on Hulu and re-subscribe there.
With a Roku or Xfinity
If you signed up for Hulu through your Roku or Xfinity smart TV, you could upgrade your package through the TV.
For the Roku TV (only if you are billed through Roku):
Open the Hulu app
Select your account icon
Click account and then subscription
You can choose your new Hulu plan here
For the Xfinity:
Enter the Xfinity menu
Choose apps and subscriptions management
Select apps and subscription settings

With an Xfinity, you cannot sign up for Live TV. To do that, you need to sign up for a live TV Hulu plan through the site.
