Who is Julia Roberts?

This is maybe Julia Roberts’ most acclaimed success. This film, released in 2000, is a legal thriller based on a true story.
Erin is an unemployed single mum of three children who is suing a doctor for involving her in a car accident. Her lawyer, Ed Masry, is sure they will win the case, but they don’t due to Erin’s impulsive behaviour in court. After ignoring all her phone calls, he suddenly finds her at his office working. She tells him she is in desperate need of a job seeing as he didn’t win the lawsuit. He reluctantly hires her.
While working on Ed’s cases, she comes across a suspicious one against a giant gas and electric company. Digging deeper, she manages to find that the Gas company is knowingly responsible for causing illnesses and death among their clients.
Erin manages to convince Ed to mount a class action against the company.
My Best Friend’s Wedding
It is a 1997 romantic comedy that sees Julia Roberts star alongside Dermot Mulroney, Cameron Diaz and Rupert Everett.
It’s about two lifelong friends, Julianne Potter and Michael O’Neal, who promise they will marry each other if they reach the age of 28 yet unmarried.
Just three weeks before Julianne turns 28, she receives a phone call from Michael. Thinking he is calling for their promise, she answers hopefully. Michael, however, is calling to let her know he is getting married to Kimmy and invites Julianne to the wedding.

Runaway Bride
