How Much Does a Netflix Account Cost in 2023?
Netflix offers a number of different Netflix accounts. You can choose from four plans starting at $6.99 per month, and going through to $19.99 per month for the most expensive plan.

You can always upgrade your Netflix subscription and change the plan at any point.
Cancel your Netflix subscription whenever you want. You will be able to access your subscription until the end of the payment term. After that, you will no longer be charged and no longer have access to your account.
Netflix Plans with Extras
Due to Netflix’s password-sharing crackdown, the streaming company no longer allows password-sharing with users living outside of your Netflix household.

What Is the Netflix Password Sharing Crackdown?
The streaming platform has been trying to stop users from password sharing for a long time now using various different ways. They mainly want to prevent users from using someone else’s account to watch Netflix if they are not living in the same house.
Netflix has already attempted to stop password sharing with a trial in several countries in Latin America. This was not a huge success and saw a ”cancel reaction” from Netflix users who were sharing passwords and didn’t want to spend yet more money.
But in 2023, Netflix brought in new rules as part of their password-sharing crackdown. These will limit password borrowers and password sharing. Users will have to use an internet connection to register their personal devices and own subscription to the location of the primary account holder.

By doing this users can take out a new membership, and become an account owner, but still keep a log of their activity and old profile.
How Does Netflix Know if Users are Account Sharing?
Netflix uses IP addresses device IDs and account activity from devices signed in, to locate which users form one household.
If by using device IDs and account activity Netflix infers the wrong location, paying subscribers can manually change this using the Netflix app, or by logging into their Netflix account on a PC.
