1. Secret Obsession

In this psychological thriller, Brenda Song stars as a young woman named Jennifer who, after being pursued by a stranger, gets run over by a car. She awakens in a hospital after experiencing memory loss due to a car accident without knowing what happened to her or who she was before waking up.

Luckily for Jennifer, her doting husband Russell (Michael Vogel) seems ready and willing to take care of everything. He shows her photos of their entire life together and tells he she had quit her job, that her mother and father were dead and that she had practically cut ties with her friends as well.

As the story unfolds, a police officer will start investigating Jennifer’s accident while she starts getting brief flashes of memory back. She realises that Russell has more than just a borderline personality disorder and his dangerous obsessions make him a ruthless murderer as well.

2. Hush

Hush is a slasher film directed by Mike Flanagan and starring Kate Siegel, John Gallagher Jr., and Michael trucco.

Maddie is a deaf and mute writer of horror novels who retreats into the woods to live and work on her writing in solitude. Her friend Sarah goes to visit her one evening, but an anonymous killer wearing a mask attacks her with a crossbow. Sarah tries to bang on the door, but Maddie can’t hear her and Sarah is stabbed to death.

The dangerous stranger, who will have no name and is credited as The Man, discovers that Maddie is deaf and therefore tries to play with her before he makes her his next victim. He enters the house and steals her phone, taking photos of her and sending them to her laptop.

Maddie realises that the only way to save her life is if she kills the maniac herself.

3. Dangerous Lies

Adam and Katie are a young couple. She works as a waitress while he finishes his studies. An attempted robbery at the diner where Katie works makes her decide to change job and she goes to work as a carer to Leonard, a rich old man who becomes very fond of her. Leonard (Elliott Gould) would like to help her with her financial problems and gives a substantial cheque. Instead of the money, she asks Leonard to hire Adam as a gardener but takes the cheque anyway.

The day after, Katie and her husband go to work only to find Leonard dead. They find a large amount of cash in a trunk and decide to keep it without telling the investigators. At Leonard’s funeral, his lawyer tells the couple that Leonard has left all his possessions to Katie.

A shady real estate agent makes an offer for the house, but Katie tells him it’s not for sale. From that moment, things start getting weird and creepy. Everyone starts to suspect each other, and while looking for Adam around the house, the woman finds a secret room in the shed.

4. Fatal Affair

Ellie (Nia Long) is a lawyer whose spouse is recovering after a bad car accident. When their daughter Brittany goes off to college, Ellie and her husband Marcus (Omar Epps) move to a new city on the coast. There, she meets up with an old college friend, David, after many years, who is now working at the same firm as she is, and they have a moment, but she rejects him.

David develops dangerous obsessions and stalks her aggressively. So she begins looking into David, and the few things she finds out are so unnerving that they will soon escalate to a dramatic ending.

5. The Night Clerk

Bart is a young man with Asperger syndrome who works nights at the front desk of a hotel and lives with his mother (Helen Hunt). To overcome his social inadequacy, Bart installs hidden cameras in the guests’ rooms, so he can watch guests remotely, emulating their way of speaking and moving.

One night, he starts to watch a new guest that just checked into the hotel. On his way to buy some ice cream, he sees her letting a man in. He watches while they argue and sees the man beating the woman up. He also sees a gun fall out of the woman’s purse. So, he quickly returns to the hotel to try to save the woman.

In the meantime, Bart’s colleague hears a gunshot and runs to the room. He finds the woman dead and Bart sitting on the bed. Before the police arrive, Bart manages to remove the hidden cameras. Once home, Bart looks at his recordings again and sees that the man has the tattoo of a bird on his arm.

After the incident, Bart gets transferred to another hotel, and on his very first shift, Andrea checks herself in. She understands he has Asperger’s Syndrome and flirts with him. He hides cameras in the room of his new friend. While watching, he witnesses the same scene as in his previous video.

6. The Guest

The Peterson family grieves for the death of their son and brother Caleb, a soldier who died in action.

One day, a sergeant, David, appears at their doorstep, claiming to be a very close friend of Caleb’s. The Petersons let David stay for as long as he likes. But things begin to turn very strangely for all the family when David goes to great lengths to insinuate himself into each of their lives.

At first, all seems to work out well until Anna, the Peterson girl, begins to suspect something and starts making inquiries. Everything precipitates when Anna calls the military base and finds out that David had presumably died a week before.

7. The Watcher

James Spader, Marisa Tomei and Keanu Reeves star in this thrilling movie that will have all your adrenaline pumping.

An FBI agent moves from L.A. to Chicago and finds himself haunted by a case he couldn’t solve about a serial killer he didn’t catch, which ended in the death of a woman. He suffers from guilt-induced migraines and is in therapy with Dr Polly Beilman.

When the agent finds out the killer has followed him to Chicago and is taunting and provoking him, he must get back on the case, or many other women will die.

8. 13 Cameras

A couple of newlyweds with marital problems and a baby on the way hope they can make their relationship better by moving into a new home. What they don’t know is that their sleazy, creep of a landlord has fitted hidden cameras in their house and spies on their every move.

When the landlord starts rigging up his basement with soundproofing and chains, the horror begins!

9. P2

Rachel Nichols, as Angela Bridges, gets stuck working late on Christmas Eve. When she finishes, she is in a hurry to get to a family Christmas party but finds that her car, parked on level P2 of her workplace building, won’t start. Wes Bentley as Thomas Barclay, a security guard who uselessly helps the young woman with the car, invites her to spend Christmas with him, but she refuses.

She calls a taxi and waits in the lobby. When the taxi arrives, she realises she has been locked into the building. Suddenly the lights go out, and guided only by the light of her cell phone, she tries to find her way around but is drugged with chloroform by the guard and dragged to his office.

This is a great horror-thriller film with continuous heart-pumping moments till the very end.

10. The Kindergarten Teacher

Lisa, a Kindergarten teacher, becomes obsessed with the poetry talent of a five-year-old young boy.
